In April, we had the privilege to work with two of the best restaurant owners in town. Justin Leiter and Courtney Confer, owners of the Red Horse Tavern in Pleasant Gap, and now Sammi's in Bellefonte. Together, we collaborated on what they had envisioned for the small town "fast-causal" dining experience, and gave them a unique look that works perfectly with the menu they created. We had fun coming up with new design ideas that are seen throughout the restaurant. Our favorite part of this design was the Bike Wall. We took a vintage bike that belonged to Corinna's father-in-law, and turned it into a piece of art. After sanding down's it's original red paint, we chose a bright yellow color for the body of the bike, painted the handle bars and seat white, and added a basket to the back side of it. For the background, we hung a brick wall wallpaper and added the letters F and D to spell the word FOOD. It is certainly an eye catcher and we are very proud of how it turned out. We hope you enjoy what we've done and would love for you to visit Sammi's for lunch or dinner. You can dine-in or carry out. Hours are Monday-Saturday, 11am - 9pm. Located at 205 Park Place.
